I have been collecting Downers ephemera for many years. I started by buying Downers Grove bits and pieces on eBay. My collection of DG artifacts was on display at the Downers Grove History Museum. I will be putting stuff up as time allows. I think I have something from all of the auto dealers, Ford Chevrolet Chrysler and Studebaker. If you are familiar with anything that I post. Old and new Downers Grove
I came across this matchbook cover on eBay. I went to 939 Curtiss Street and took a photo.
A lot has changed since that matchbook was new. If you have any information on the Bertolin And Ellsworth Garage please comment.
