I have been collecting Downers ephemera for many years. I started by buying Downers Grove bits and pieces on eBay. My collection of DG artifacts was on display at the Downers Grove History Museum. I will be putting stuff up as time allows. I think I have something from all of the auto dealers, Ford Chevrolet Chrysler and Studebaker. If you are familiar with anything that I post. Somebody thought this Downers Grove driveway was nice enough to make a post card of it. Where is this driveway? I can't find a year on this card but I know it is old.
"Having a swell time here in Downers Grove" Somethings just never change. Was this where Etta was staying? What ever became of Etta? Post cards like this become a mysterious slice of life.
