I have been collecting Downers ephemera for many years. I started by buying Downers Grove bits and pieces on eBay. My collection of DG artifacts was on display at the Downers Grove History Museum. I will be putting stuff up as time allows. I think I have something from all of the auto dealers, Ford Chevrolet Chrysler and Studebaker. If you are familiar with anything that I post. In 1907 a little girl sent this postcard to a friend. She told a dumb joke in her communication. It still makes me chuckle every time I read it.
As long as I'm doing this snow thing I might as well include this card too. It says Downers Grove is pictured here. Can anyone tell me where this photo was taken?
