I have been collecting Downers ephemera for many years. I started by buying Downers Grove bits and pieces on eBay. My collection of DG artifacts was on display at the Downers Grove History Museum. I will be putting stuff up as time allows. I think I have something from all of the auto dealers, Ford Chevrolet Chrysler and Studebaker. If you are familiar with anything that I post. The Downers Grove Centennial was in 1932. I have a ribbon to prove it.
Some who participated in this event must still be around.
Wouldn't it be something if the person wearing this ribbon was also riding in the car with this license plate.
